About the 3TV Phoenix 10K

Started 38 years ago by Dr. Art Mollen, the 3TV Phoenix 10K and Half Marathon has grown from humble beginnings. The first race was at 40th Street and Camelback Road and 1,500 runners ran along a canal. The race eventually moved to downtown Phoenix where it remained until light rail construction forced a move in 2005. In 2011, the race returned to Central Avenue. The race now includes a Half Marathon, 10K, a 5K run/walk, children’s events, a costume contest, and more. The race benefits The Mollen Foundation, preventing childhood obesity. Follow the race on Facebookand Twitter (PHX10K). For more information visit www.Phoenix10K.com.
