PHOENIX -- If there's one thing Chef Jay Murray of The KAK Shop knows, it's cake -- fabulous cake.

He spent about two weeks creating a life-size Lady Gaga cake when she was in town to perform in January 2013. You read that right -- a life-size Gaga cake.

With 40 pounds each of fondant and frosting, the cake served about 400 people.

So, the man knows of what he speaks.

Murray showed 3TV's Heidi Goitia some quick and easy ways to customize a plain store-bought cake, and he says you can do it in about an hour. All you need is some fondant and a little bit of imagination.
