The Arizona State football team kicks off their 2014 season on August 28 against Weber State at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe.

Head coach Todd Graham was not happy with the player’s focus Tuesday at practice.

It was the first practice since being on the field for fall camp that Coach Graham was not pleased with the performance of the team and he was sure to let his players know about it.

Expectations are at an all-time high for the team as they enter the season as returning Pac-12 South Champions and with national rankings in both AP and Coach’s polls.

Graham acknowledged a heavy work load for the players to learn everything in the playbook at this time and said in the weeks leading up to games, there won’t be as much information thrown at the team day to day.

With a young defense and so much info to absorb, it is understandable that the team can lose focus, but a team like Weber St. is coming with nothing to lose and everything to gain by giving the Sun Devils a tough game and Graham knows the feeling of a smaller school coming to play a big school and he knows the big school needs to be on their A game.
