Christian Westerman was the highest rated high school prospect in the state of Arizona in 2010.

Westerman, an offensive lineman, chose to attend the University of Auburn after they had won the national title in Arizona. Westerman decided he wanted to come back home to Arizona and enrolled at Arizona State.

Because of rules, Westerman had to sit out all of last year in Tempe. Now Christian is in the starting lineup and ready to start his ASU career in front of his family.

Christian is optimistic on ASU’s chances because of their big and strong offensive line and because of the high flying offensive weapons that that offensive line will be blocking for.

Westerman knows a lot about winning from being at local powerhouse Hamilton High School.

Christian lost a total of one game while at Hamilton and that was a state championship game when he was a freshman.

Westerman went on to win 3 straight state titles following that loss and now he is ready to win the maroon and gold in his home state at Sun Devil Stadium.

3TV’s Tyler Baldwin sat down with the local Arizona player who finally has found his way home at ASU.
