PHOENIX -- Stylist Devy Walker showed 3TV's Kaley O'Kelley how to make one-of-a-king signature jewelry out of pieces you already have.

Get started by pulling out all the jewelry you're not wearing  and take a physical and visual inventory.

Dismantle beads. Start by cutting up a few necklaces and separate beads, baubles, hooks and closures.

Have a jewelry design tray, to assist you with length, shape and layout. You can find one at Michaels for $10 or less.

Create a statement necklace by using salvaged beads and a dressy pin, for instance. Create a charm necklace with ribbon, charms and a safety pin or small pin. You can transform a bracelet by adding O rings and ribbon. Create a treasure necklace with keepsake jewelry.

If it is expensive jewelry and just sits in a box, you can create a piece that you can really wear or pass down to a loved one.

The cool part is you can design your own new jewelry, and have your own signature one-of-a-kind piece.

Walker is offering 30-minute redesign jewelry consultation.
