PHOENIX -- Hot and humid conditions continue for Valley residents as we head into the weekend.
Monsoon moisture is somewhat limited today, so storms will mostly pop up in the high country of Northern, Eastern and Southeastern Arizona. The Valley has a slight chance of isolated storms this afternoon and evening. We'll see an afternoon high temperature of about 105 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
Look for a slight chance of storms this evening, then an overnight low of 85 degrees under mostly clear skies.
Temperatures warm up a bit this weekend as drier air moves in. Afternoon temperatures will rise to about 107 degrees both Saturday and Sunday afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Storms should stay limited to the high country with dry weather on tap for the Valey all weekend.
More monsoon moisture is forecast to return to the region early next week, bringing higher storm chances for the Valley and state starting Monday.
