GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities at Grand Canyon National Park say they're still searching for a man reported missing on a hike along the South Rim.
Park officials say 36-year-old Marc Buckhout was reported missing by a member of his family on Saturday evening. He's from the Phoenix suburb of Glendale.
Park officials say Buckhout was last seen at 4:30 p.m. hiking along the South Rim west of Grandview Point in the vicinity of Highway 64.
They say a dog team Tuesday searched the area Buckhout was last seen and a technical rescue team covered terrain near the South Rim.
A park helicopter searched the area on Monday along with ground teams, but there's still been no sign of Buckhout.
Anyone with information regarding Buckhout is asked to contact Grand Canyon National Park Silent Witness Program at 928-638-7767.
