Suspects sought in shooting, assault at Phoenix gas station

PHOENIX -- Police are searching for suspects after two men were shot and a third was beaten with a gun at a west Phoenix convenience store early Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the Chevron gas station near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road around 2 a.m.

According to police, the three victims -- ages 27, 30 and 32 -- got into an argument with two other men, resulting in the shooting and assault. The suspects fled on foot into a neighborhood.

Police said the two shooting victims were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The assault victim was treated on scene.

The suspects are described as Hispanic men between 20 and 30 years old.
