TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Arizona State University has turned the final page on print editions of its campus newspapers.

The State Press put together its final print issue Wednesday before switching to an all-digital format.

The publication's editorial board said in a statement July 16 that it would continue to bring coverage of ASU news, sports and features.

The newspaper also says readers can expect more photos, graphics and video to go with documentary-style reporting.

Initially called the Tempe Normal Student and then The Tempe Collegian, The State Press has evolved in its 123 years.

The newspaper most recently switched from publishing daily to weekly.
