Tilted Kilt holds fundraiser for one of their own Kilt Girls
3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tilted Kilt in Paradise Valley is holding a fundraising event for one of their own Kilt Girls who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Twenty-one-year-old Courtney Brewster found out just six weeks ago that she has liver cancer. She has been with this Tilted Kilt since they opened their Paradise Valley location in February of 2012. She was working during the first few weeks of her diagnosis but has since had to take a break because of the multiple trips to see doctors and specialists outside of the state and her recent rounds of chemo treatments.
Get the chance to "Meet, Greet and Eat" with Courtney. She will be there to thank everyone for all of their support. Anyone who comes in and offers a minimum donation of $10 will get a wristband and free food from Tilted Kilt's "Hoppy Hour" menu. All money raised will go directly to Courtney to help pay for her medical bills.
