PHOENIX (AP) -- Passengers aboard a US Airways Express plane had to be evacuated at a Phoenix airport after a report of smoke in a bathroom.

Federal Aviation Administration officials say SkyWest flight 2948 arrived from Albuquerque about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

Authorities say the 64 passengers were evacuated as a precaution and they were taken by bus from the tarmac to a terminal to catch connecting flights.

There were no reported injuries and authorities say the cause of the smoke aboard the plane that triggered an indicator isn't immediately known.

Phoenix firefighters boarded the plane before it was towed to a gate.
