KINGMAN, Ariz. – A man wearing plastic bags on his head and arms robbed a convenience store in Kingman Sunday morning and investigators are attempting to locate him.

The robbery occurred at the Gas N Grub at East Northern Avenue and North Benton Street at about 6:25 a.m., according to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

MCSO spokeswoman Trish Carter said the suspect entered the store and told the clerk to give him money and no one would get hurt. The suspect did not brandish a weapon, but the clerk thought he had one on him.

Carter said the suspect was wearing a bandanna with a plastic bag on his head and some material was covering his face. The suspect also wore plastic bags wrapped around both arms.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash and no one was injured.

He was last seen running east in an alleyway between Neal and Butler avenues.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall with a husky build, blue eyes, blond hair and a long goatee. He also had a noticeable limp.

He was wearing a tan short-sleeve shirt and blue jeans with holes on the front of the left leg at the time of the robbery.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mohave County Sheriff's Office Detective Division at 928-753-0753 or Silent Witness at 928-753-1234.
