GLENDALE, Ariz. -- It's a tour of Nintendo's latest games being played on Nintendo's latest hand held gaming system, the 2DS.

“Pretty cool, I like it,” said one of the kids playing Mario Cart.

Throughout the weekend you can stay cool playing all these games at Arrowhead Towne Center and it's absolutely free, all part of the Play Nintendo Tour 2014.

“It's fun and affordable and we have a lot of franchise games and characters that they know and love like Mario, Donkey Kong and even Pokéman,” said Nintendo spokesperson Brandi Miller

And it's not just for the kids, although they’re the ones who love playing video games rather than shop. “Yes, much better,” said one of the kids playing Donkey Kong.

Fans of all ages will love the themed zones filled with iconic items like banana-shaped seats in the Donkey Kong area, a giant Pokéball in the Pokémon section and Yoshi egg chairs in the Yoshi’s Island zone. You’ll also get to meet Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong and Kirby.

Play Nintendo Tour 2014 starts Friday and runs through Sunday at Arrowhead Towne Center. The giant videogame playground is near Dick's Sporting Goods.
