HOBBS, N.M. (AP) -- Hobbs police say a 27-year-old Arizona man has been arrested in a fatal head-on collision in which two people were killed.

Hobbs say Keevisen James Gould of Red Valley is accused of two counts of homicide by motor vehicle and one count of great bodily harm by motor vehicle.

The accident occurred Friday on the Lovington Highway.

Police say those killed were Priscilla Mungia of Hobbs and a 6-year-old child whose identity was withheld. A passenger in Gould's pickup was seriously injured.
