PHOENIX -- Two people have been found dead in a south Phoenix home.

The bodies were discovered just before 9 p.m. Tuesday near Seventh Street and Dobbins Road.

Phoenix police officers were called to the home to do a welfare check. Once they arrived, officers found two people dead inside. No word yet on the cause of death, or how long the victims have been dead.

Investigators were still on the scene Wednesday morning.

Initially police had said that three people were found dead inside, but have since confirmed that there are two victims.

Dozens of officers responded to the scene. But so far, very little information is being released about what happened.

Police on Wednesday located a car belonging to one of the victims about a block away from the home.
