GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities have arrested a suspect in last month's fatal shooting of a 19-year-old Goodyear man and the wounding of the victim's stepfather.

Goodyear police say 24-year-old Andrew Tyraye Moering was taken into custody Friday night by U.S. Marshals in Phoenix.

They say Moering was holding a one-way bus ticket to Las Vegas.

Police say Moering is being held on suspicion of one count of premeditated first-degree murder and one of premeditated attempted first-degree murder.

It was unclear Monday if he has a lawyer yet.

Police say Moering was picked out of a criminal photo lineup by 45-year-old David Archer.

They say Archer and his stepson, Davis Jurado, were shot June 11 at a Goodyear park while trying to sell marijuana to a man Jurado had met through text messages.
