CAMP VERDE, Ariz. -- The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office is searching for an inmate who escaped from the Camp Verde Jail.

Wade Cole Dickinson, 28, possibly escaped from the recreation yard of the jail and was last seen in the area of Interstate 17 and Middle Verde Road in Camp Verde late Saturday night.

He was wearing a white button-up shirt, khaki pants and dirty dark socks. Sheriff's spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn said Dickinson has cuts on his legs, most likely from scaling a barbed wire fence.

His booking charges include fraud schemes, theft, prohibited possession, and possession of dangerous drugs, according to the sheriff's office.

He is a 6-foot-1 white man with brown hair and brown eyes and weighs about 190 pounds.

He has family in Camp Verde and Prescott Valley.

The escape is under investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 928-771-3269 or 911.
