SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- We all love our pets. But does your dog have what it takes to be "dog fabulous?"

If so, one Valley pet resort is holding a contest this fall where your pooch can show off his or her canine cuteness!

Applewood Pet Resort will be holding its Canine Couture runway show on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at 2:45 p.m. at WestWorld.

The event will be a showcase of Scottsdale's most stylish pooches. Participation in the fashion show is open to all breeds and age of dogs. Dogs will be judged on their appearance and the creativity of their outfits by a panel of canine couture experts.

"It's going to be the most fabulous dog show," says organizer Ivan Lugo. "We want people to be creative and create their own costumes."

It's all a part of The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships, which is gearing up for its return to WestWorld October 25 through 26.

Judges for the event will include Million Dollar Listing's Chad Rogers, New York Times bestselling author Kelly E. Carter, and two-time winner of Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show's Best In Show Gabriel Rangel.

Trophies will be awarded to the top five favorites, with an additional $1,000 awarded to first place, $500 awarded to second place, and $250 awarded to third place.

10,000 attendees are expected at the event. "We want to have fun," says Ivan. "That's the most important thing."
