PHOENIX -- Rosie O'Donnell will be returning to The View next season. And now, a nationally recognized social media strategist and TV commentator hopes she will be joining the panel as well.

You'll probably recognize her from the E! Channel. Pop culture expert and media maven Kinsey Schofield has launched an aggressive Twitter campaign to get a job for herself on The View.

"All of the tabloid blogs were throwing some really old names out there," she says. "And I thought, you need fresh blood. You need an Elisabeth Hasselbeck-type. So I started a Twitter campaign to try to convince the View to take a look at some new material."

She says the response to her campaign has been amazing. "We've had over a thousand tweets and re-tweets," she says. "We have people coming out of the woodwork that I would have never expected."

Kinsey got her start writing and doing PR right here in the Valley. And she is no stranger to TV. She made her television debut alongside celebs P. Diddy and 50 Cent on E!'s event-planning competition series, Party Monsters.

She's asking for the public to support her in her campaign. "I need a job basically!" she laughs. She has more than 250k followers on Twitter, so is hoping to gain lots of support.
