Police continue to investigate fatal shooting outside Phoenix nightclub

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are seeking information from the public as they continue to investigate a fatal shooting outside a nightclub.

Lajay Royal Jr., 31, was shot at an after-hours club at Central Avenue and Mohave Street around 3:30 a.m. Saturday. He died later that day.

Police said Royal was shot by another man after they got into a fight in the club's parking lot.

Homicide detectives have been trying to identify the suspect. Anyone who has any information about the shooting is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. Callers may remain anonymous.
