PHOENIX – All three northbound lanes of Seventh Avenue have reopened following a water main break that flooded the street on Tuesday.

A 20-inch water main cracked near Willetta Street and turned Seventh Avenue into a virtual river north of Interstate 10 in Phoenix.

The northbound lanes between McDowell Road and Interstate 10 reopened at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

The only traffic restriction that remains is the left turn lane from northbound Seventh Avenue to westbound Willetta Street.
