PHOENIX -- Monday brought a mixed bag of dust, wind and rain to the Valley and today may hold the same.
Temperatures started today in the 80s, but dewpoints were noticeably higher in the 60s and 70s, indicating increasing moisture in our atmosphere. Look for partly sunny skies today and an afternoon high of 106 degrees.
There's a slight chance of storms in the Valley today, with an increased chance by the evening hours. Storms could come off the Rim into the Valley, or outflows could interact to generate new storms.
There's also potential for blowing dust again this afternoon if storms form to our south. H
eavy rain and strong downburst winds are also a threat today with any storms that form.
Storm chances continue tomorrow through Friday, but drier air is forecast to move in over the weekend, limiting storm potential.
