BUCKEYE, Ariz. -- An inmate at the Lewis prison complex in Buckeye was pronounced dead on July 4th, and an autopsy indicated that the death was potentially homicide.

Gordon Lee, 59, was serving a 75 year sentence for five counts of Molestation of a Child. Lee entered the prison system in 1988.

The autopsy done on Lee's body by the Maricopa County Medical examiner indicated that Lee died as a result of strangulation. The Department of Correction's Criminal Investigation Unit is now investigating the death as a homicide.
