PHOENIX -- A Phoenix strip mall was damaged when a fire broke out late Saturday night.

Phoenix Fire Capt. Tony Mure said the strip mall near 31st Avenue and Van Buren Street houses about 10 businesses, but only a few were damaged.

Built-in fire walls and ventilation holes cut by firefighters helped keep the flames from spreading, Mure said.

Rigo's Locksmith appeared to have the most damage.

The entire strip mall lost power.

No injuries were reported.
