Suspect sought in 2 robberies at same Phoenix bank

PHOENIX – Authorities are attempting to identify and locate a man believed to be responsible for two robberies at the same Phoenix bank.

The suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank near Camelback Road and 32nd Street at approximately 9:40 a.m. on June 21. He approached a teller and presented a demand note. Police said he also verbally demanded money from two tellers.

After obtaining cash, the suspect fled the bank and was not located.

No weapon was shown.

The suspect is described as a white or light-skinned Hispanic male in his mid-30s, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 130 to 140 pounds, wearing a long-sleeve hooded sweatshirt, black sunglasses, clear gloves, black sweatpants and a white bandanna covering his face.

Investigators believe the suspect is also responsible for robbing the same branch on May 31.
