SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Police say a driver and two passengers are recovering from injuries after a golf cart accident in Old Town Scottsdale.

Scottsdale police say the cart hit a depression in the road Monday and lost its front wheels, causing it to roll.

They say 29-year-old Natalie De Pace, of Gilbert, was riding in the rear seat and suffered a broken arm, broken neck and lost several teeth.

Her boyfriend, 31-year-old Paul Archer, of Tempe, also was riding in the back and suffered minor abrasions.

The driver of the cart, 34-year-old Akop Akopyan, of Phoenix, suffered a broken ankle.

All three were taken to Scottsdale Healthcare-Osborn for treatment.

Archer told police that Akopyan was driving fast and recklessly, but Akopyan says he was only going about 20 mph.
