PHOENIX (AP) -- Two men convicted in the armed robbery of a Phoenix jewelry store and a freeway shooting during a 2011 police chase have been sentenced to long prison terms.

Maricopa County prosecutors say Jonathan Jesse Corrales received a 46-year prison sentence Friday while Adan J. Orduno got a 34-year term.

The 26-year-old Corrales was convicted of armed robbery, theft, unlawful flight, aggravated assault, attempted first-degree murder, misconduct involving weapons and drive-by shooting.

The 27-year-old Orduno was found guilty of the same charges plus one count of unlawful flight. He escaped from his cell in a Phoenix jail in November 2012 before being apprehended hours later.

The October 2011 robbery escalated into a police chase on State Route 51. Authorities say either Orduno or Corrales fired a shotgun at the police car.
