5 Men sought in theft of cellphones from Mesa Wal-Mart

MESA, Ariz. -- Mesa police are searching for five men in connection with the theft of cellphones from a Wal-Mart store.

The five men entered the store near Signal Butte Road and the US-60 around 2:15 a.m. June 11, according to police.

Police said three of the men stood watch while the other two broke open a glass display case in the electronics department and stole an undisclosed number of cellphones.

The men reportedly concealed the cellphones inside a plastic bag and stolen backpack then fled the store on foot.
