GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Police are searching for two suspects who shot and killed a 19-year-old and wounded another man in Goodyear Tuesday night.

Police say a 19-year-old man and a 45-year-old man walked into the emergency room at the West Valley Hospital near McDowell and Litchfield roads around 8 p.m. Both had gunshot wounds.

A police spokesman told 3TV that David Archer, 45, drove himself and Davis Jurado, 19 to the hospital.

The car the victims were in had bullet holes in it.

Jurado died of his wounds. Archer was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The hospital was put on lockdown while investigators tried to figure out what happened before Archer and Jurado arrived at the hospital.

Police said the shooting happened near Yuma Road and Village Boulevard in a neighborhood on Supai Drive.

Police said the first call came from that neighborhood around 7:35 p.m, and then they received another call from the hospital minutes later about two gunshot wound victims.

Officers are interviewing witnesses in the area. Some say they heard multiple shots fired.

"We do not have anybody in custody," Goodyear police Lt. Scott Benson said. "We are looking for two possibly black men, late teens, early 20s, that did flee south into the neighborhood. That's all we have at this time. We don't have any other description."

The relationship between the two victims is unclear.
