AZ Food Bank 

The food drive is one of the only statewide efforts to be held in Arizona with collection bins in all Community Banking stores throughout the state. 
WHERE:  St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, 2831 N. 31st Ave., Phoenix
WHEN:   June 10, 7 a.m.- 9 a.m.
Donations will benefit members of the Association of Arizona Food Banks.  
Those who wish to donate cash can send checks to their local food banks or to the Association of Arizona Food Banks.  
Donations may be made online at or sent to 2100 N. Central Ave., Ste. 230, Phoenix, Ariz. 85004.
Sonoran Arts League 
Artist Mark Carroll, The Sculpture Studio, was selected in the Cave Creek Gateways Art Competition to create public art to be sited at two gateways to the Town of Cave Creek.

Bicycle 101 Workshop 
Ready to get out of your car and onto a bicycle?  Bicycle 101 is a great introductory workshop on how to start bicycle commuting and it's free!  
WHEN: Tuesday, June 10, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. 
WHERE: Dobson Ranch Library, 2425 S. Dobson Road
During this program, you will learn how to ride safely, avoid collisions, and bike through the Valley.  
You will also learn how to take your bicycle on transit and use bike lockers.  Participants completing the hour-long class will receive a free helmet and bike lights as well as a free map of Maricopa County bikeways.
Daddy Hair-Do
In celebration of Father's Day, the Peoria Main Library is offering a Free Daddy Hair-Do 101 class to teach dads or grandpas how to do your daughter's hair properly.  
We know those braids are difficult and where to start a pony tail requires precision. Visiting expert stylists from Salon Rituals will help you master those tricky hairstyles. The class is Saturday, June 14 at 2 p.m. at the Main Library, 8463 W. Monroe Street. Registration is required. To register, call 623-773-7562.
