PHOENIX -- A local man was arrested for going online where he allegedly tried to get underage girls to make pornographic movies, according to a court document released Monday.

The "girls" were actually fake Internet profiles set up a by an undercover detective with the Chandler Police Dept.

Jason Perea faces charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and prostitution with a minor under 15 years old.

Perea said he wanted to film pornography and that he needed the fictitious girl's help and any underage girls she could bring. The undercover officer said she could bring her 14-year-old sister. Perea said he would pay them a total of $4,000 for the illegal film session.

Perea told the woman to meet him in a Fry's parking lot at 1815 W. Glendale Ave., after which they'd go to the filming location. When Perea told the woman that he was in front of the business, officers located him and took him into custody.

Perea admitted to making the contacts, but said that he set himself up because he wanted to get arrested. Perea said he wasn't going to engage in any real illegal activity and only made the contacts to get arrested on purpose.
