PHOENIX (AP) -- A Glendale man arrested last year on suspicion of downloading child pornography has pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 37-year-old Scott Thomas Harmon will be sentenced July 2.

Harmon's case dates back to April 2011 when police served a search warrant at his home.

According to court paperwork, Harmon admitted to downloading about 100 images a week of underage children.

He was arrested in May 2013 by officers armed with a grand jury warrant and booked into jail on suspicion of seven counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Prosecutors say Harmon agreed to a plea deal Monday and was taken into custody pending his sentencing.
