MESA, Ariz. -- Summer camps are in full swing, and starting today, gymnastics camp, Parkour-american ninja warriors camp and skateboard camps all begin at Kids that Rip Indoor Skate Park, and it's not too late to sign up. Your kid can stay out of the heat, dial in new tricks, learn gymnastics and more, plus, they can meet an X Games silver medalist.

Two Mesa teens who practice at Kids that Rip, Alana Smith and Jagger Eaton, both 13, will be off competing this week in the X Games in Austin, Texas this weekend.

Alana is a silver medalist and four-time competitor. She also teaches a few of the summer camp sessions.

This competition she and Jagger are taking part in is the largest, professional action sports event of the year.

3TV's Heidi Goitia talked to Alana and her coach.
