Police seek suspect in vehicle burglary at Mesa church

MESA, Ariz. -- Police are searching for a man who stole a woman's purse from her parked car in Mesa and used her credit card.

The woman reportedly parked her car in a church parking lot near Brown Road and Horne from 8 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 18.

When she returned to her vehicle, she noticed that her purse and credit cards were missing.

She reported that a fraudulent charge was made on her credit card at 8:52 p.m. at the Walgreens store near Mesa Drive and Brown Road.

The suspect is described as a white man between 25 and 30 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing 170 to 180 pounds. He has brown hair and tattoos on his forearms.
