PHOENIX -- The weather is warming up across Arizona, just in time for the weekend. As high pressure returns to our region, look for mostly clear skies today through early next week, along with above average afternoon temperatures.
Friday in the Valley will be a warm one. We'll heat it up to about 97 degrees by noon, and see an afternoon high of about 104 degrees. That's about 5 degrees above average for this time of year.
Overnight lows will dip to between 70 and 80 degrees the next couple of mornings.
Saturday looks to be our warmest of the next few days with a forecast high of 107 degrees.
Sunday will also be mostly sunny with a peak temperature of about 105. Those toasty temperatures aren't likely to let up until the middle of next week at the earliest.
