PHOENIX -- More high clouds streamed over metro Phoenix on Wednesday, keeping temperatures below forecast levels in many locations.
Over the next couple of days, those clouds and the associated moisture will continue to flow into mainly eastern Arizona. The result will be some widely scattered showers and thunderstorms in the White Mountains.
Most of the rest of the state will stay dry.
Forecast highs remain above normal as we head into the end of the week, with a high of 100 degrees forecast for metro Phoenix on Thursday and 104 on Friday.
Temperatures will moderate a bit next week, but highs are still expected to stay in the triple-digit range.
