ROOSEVELT, Ariz. -- A cliff jumper died at Apache Lake over the weekend.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, Kelson Blair, 50, of Star Valley, jumped off a 100-foot cliff into the water Sunday. He never resurfaced.
He was pulled from the water, which is only about 17 feet deep in the area, about eight minutes later.
An MCSO spokesman said witnesses did not believe alcohol was involved.
