Phoenix weather: Slight chance for weekend T-showers
By Christina O'Haver
PHOENIX -- An area of low pressure moving slowly across Arizona is going to bring a continuing chance for mainly afternoon T-storms in northern and eastern Arizona.
Most of these storms will not contain a lot of rain. There’s a slight chance both Saturday and Sunday afternoon that some of those showers could drift into the Valley.
In the meantime, we’re starting to slowly warm up. Saturday, we’re expecting a high around 90 degrees. By Sunday, we’ll be in the mid-90s and by Monday, Memorial Day, temps will shoot up to 102 degrees around the metro Phoenix area.
Next week will be very warm with triple-digit highs expected all week long.
