Police seek suspect in armed robbery at Mesa Subway

MESA, Ariz. – Mesa police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant early Monday morning.

Police said a white male dressed in all black entered the Subway at Baseline and Power roads, pointed a handgun at an employee and ordered the employee to give him cash from the register.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money then fled out the front door.

Police said it is unknown if a vehicle or accomplice was involved.

The suspect is described as having fair skin, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, dressed in a black T-shirt, black pants, black shoes with a black bandanna covering his face/head.
