PEORIA, Ariz. -- Divers have recovered the body of a man who went missing Saturday morning at Lake Pleasant, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

Christopher James Starcovic, 30, was reported missing about 8:10 a.m.

Starcovic was staying on a 27-foot cabin cruiser boat with three other adults, including one family member, and was last seen about 3 a.m, according to the sheriff's office.

The boat was anchored in Humbug Cove about 50 yards off the shore in an area with about 39 feet of water.

The sheriff's office said preliminary information indicates that Starcovic was extremely intoxicated and fell into the water. He reportedly did not know how to swim.

Dive teams from the sheriff's office and Phoenix Police Department conducted the search.
