GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Glendale police have identified the woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday night.

Police said 23-year-old Christine Mitchell of Glendale was riding in a Jeep with a 46-year-old man near Peoria and 51st avenues. The Jeep collided with a Buick driven by a 19-year-old man.

Mitchell was reportedly thrown from the Jeep and later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Both men were in serious condition Saturday.

The cause is still under investigation, but police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
