4 Tips to save a ton at TargetPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- I’ve been sharing savings tips at the stores all week long on Good Morning Arizona.
You can check out my segments along with tips on Wal-Mart, Safeway, Fry’s, and CVS in case you missed them! You also can “like” Alicia’s Deals on facebook and sign up for the daily e-mail list (unsubscribe at any time) where I’ll help you live life better for less every single day.
So many of us moms live at Target, and today I have four ways to maximize your savings every time you shop.
1. Check out their Cartwheel app. You can get it through iTunes, Google Play, or sign in via facebook or with an e-mail address. You’ll get an extra 5-30% off all kinds of things already on your list. You can use the savings on top of any sales, Target coupons, or manufacturers’ coupons you have. Right now (May 16th) you can score an extra 25% off Merona Women’s Apparel, get 30% off Nate Berkus beach towels (that are already on sale), and take 5% off apples. You’ll scan your Cartwheel code at the register right off your phone (or print it off before you leave the house).
2. Be sure to look at Target printable coupons. You’ll save on all sorts of things. Many people don’t realize that you can use Target coupons along with manufacturers’ coupons (head over here to check out some printables) along with Cartwheel along with ad sales on the same items! You can quadruple your savings.
3. Sign up for mobile coupons. You’ll get them sent straight to your phone, no clipping required.
4. Keep in mind that Target will price match! You will need the ad, but you can also price match items on Amazon.com, Bestbuy.com, Walmart.com, Target.com, Toysrus.com, and Babiesrus.com. Check out their full price match policy.
Wallet Watcher Alicia Markham has one goal -- to help you live life better for less.
"I only post deals I truly love and would buy or participate in myself," she says.
A stay-at-home mom of two, Markham describes herself as frugal and says she is passionate about saving money. She wants to help you hang on to your hard-earned dollars, too.
"I think it's so important to save without sacrificing your quality of life," she says.
Markham's blog won Phoenix Magazine's Best of the Valley recognition in 2011, 2012, and 2013, and won Arizona Foothills Magazine's Best of Our Valley award in 2014.
If there's a deal to be had, Markham will find it and share it with you.
