PHOENIX -- Looking for a fun snack for the kiddos to help make and enjoy? Forget the traditional popcorn balls. On Monday's Good Morning Arizona, Chef Tess showed us how to make popcorn topiaries!

She promises that they are easy to make, with just a few simple ingredients. "We have half a cup of sugar, one box of regular jello, and a cup of corn syrup," she says. "You mix them on the stove until this gets boiling."

Once the water gets to a rolling boil, about three minutes, pour it over your popcorn and mix. Let it cool three to five minutes.

"When you do make your popcorn balls, oil up your hands really well," she advises. "The easiest way I've found is to wrap them in plastic first."

You can used anything as your base. Then simply mount them on a stick.

You can used any kinds of embellishments, like bows, candy or spray-on glitter.
