Cops giving tickets for free doughnuts at W. Phoenix Dunkin' Donuts

PHOENIX -- Police officers are staking out a West Valley Dunkin's Donuts Friday morning to raise money for Special Olympics Arizona.
Cops will be at the shop on the northwest corner of 91st Avenue and Thomas Road (east of Loop 101 Agua Fria Fereway) until 10 a.m. In exchange for a donation for Special Olympics, the officers will give you a "ticket" for a free doughnut.
"Special Olympics is a great organization and they depend on donations to run their Olympics and run all of their events," Officer Bryon Bewley told 3TV's Heidi Goitia.
Founded in 1975, Special Olympics Arizona offers 22 sports in five statewide competitions for more than 16,000 athletes.
