PHOENIX -- A mother, a hair stylist and now an entrepreneur, launched an interchangeable footwear product with her twelve-year-old daughter Tizzi.

Just in time for Mother's Day, meet Dana Chapin and her daughter, Tizzi.

Dana is the creative designer and the ambitious force behind Tizzi Inc.  Her love of expressing fashion passed down to her athletic 12 year old daughter Tizzi.  The battle between wearing something cute, but comfy created many mother/daughter challenging moments.  The driven duo finally came together and designed interchangeable footwear that is decorative, trendy and definitely comfortable.

Established in 2012, the company, Tizzi Inc., is thriving as one of the innovative leaders in the interchangeable footwear industry. It distinguishes itself as being the first company that provides three different interchangeable functions for footwear.

The Chapins designed the sandals to be worn with or without the Tizzi Twisters® Shoe Jewelry. The distinctive twist is having additional options to layer a flower or a bow under the Tizzi Twisters® Shoe Jewelry. The accessories are easily changed using a penny.

After working with their artistic design development team, filing trademarks and a provisional patent in 2011 followed by a non-provisional patent in 2012, Dana then focused on finding manufacturers.

In February 2014, Dana along with daughter Tizzi, exhibited at their first trade show in Tucson, Arizona. The positive response was amazing!  Tizzi® footwear and Tizzi Twisters® Shoe Jewelry are expanding with many new designs.

Dana is proud to develop Tizzi Inc. with her 12 year old daughter.  Dana's daughter Tizzi truly represents Tizzi Inc. the lifestyle, a trendy cute girl who dresses like a lady, plays like a boy, is a hard worker, but a quiet leader, artistic, goal driven and most of all a ton of fun!
