YUMA, Ariz. -- Two U.S. Border Patrol agents have been treated and released from a hospital after a car accident outside Yuma that killed the driver of another vehicle.

Yuma County Sheriff's officials say 21-year-old Marlee Cahoe of Yuma was declared dead at the scene of Tuesday night's crash on Highway 95 in Somerton.

Sheriff's investigators say Cahoe's 2002 Mazda sedan was going the wrong way on the highway before 10:30 p.m. and the unmarked Border Patrol car, a 2007 Dodge Journey, swerved to avoid a collision.

They say alcohol use may be a contributing factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.

Sheriff's officials say the two on-duty agents were taken to a Yuma hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Their names haven't been released.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 928-783-4427.
