Phoenix man pleads guilty in molestation casePosted: Updated:
PHOENIX (AP) -- A Phoenix man arrested in a sexual exploitation case involving juveniles has pleaded guilty.
Maricopa County prosecutors say 28-year-old Christian Salvador Turcios had a change of plea hearing Monday.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted molestation of a child, two counts of molestation of a child, aggravated assault and attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.
His sentencing is scheduled for June 6.
Turcios was jailed in January 2012 on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, child molesting and unlawful surreptitious video recording.
Police investigators obtained a warrant to search Turcois' home in December 2011 and found child pornography images and videos.
They say some images allegedly showed Turcios engaged in sexual acts with children believed to be between the ages of 13 to 16.
