PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and similar task forces nationwide are cracking down on sex crimes against children this month.

"Operation Broken Heart" launched Thursday with the goal of catching child predators and saving victims of child pornography, prostitution and sex tourism.

The task forces involved represent more than 3,000 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.

All task forces will share statistics from the month-long operation with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in Washington, D.C., which will then release information about the operation upon its conclusion.
