CHANDLER, Ariz. --The first Arizona Fractured Prune Doughnuts, a nearly 40-year tradition on the East Coast, opened its doors to delicious doughnuts Tuesday.
Fractured Prune Doughnuts has a cult following for offering consumers always-hot doughnuts, hand-dipped and topped to order. With 19 glazes and 14 toppings to choose from, you can create pretty much any flavor -- or combination of flavors -- your taste buds desire.
In addition to the hundreds of doughnut combinations, Fractured Prune Doughnuts has a specialty doughnut menu with its suggested favorites, including French Toast (maple glaze & cinnamon sugar), Blueberry Hill (blueberry glaze & powdered sugar) and Caramel Bliss (caramel glaze & mini chocolate chips), just to name a few.

The unique Fractured Prune Doughnuts concept was created in 1976 in Ocean City, Maryland. Since then, it has spread along the East Coast and, most recently, has headed across the country to areas like Arizona, Utah and Michigan with many more to come in the near future.
Arizona's first Fractured Prune is on the northeast corner of Ray and Rural roads at 4910 West Ray Rd., Ste 1, in Chandler .
