PHOENIX -- American Emergency Response Training is hosting its third annual April Pools Day on Sunday to help the public learn about safety in the water.

The free event will be held at the Sheraton Crescent Hotel in Phoenix from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. People will have the chance to receive CPR awareness and drowning prevention material in both English and Spanish.`

Experts from the Glendale Fire Department, American Red Cross, Drowning Coalition and Poison Control will be on hand to talk with people and provide safety resources.
